Ms. Teresa W. Hamlin, 59, of Powder Springs died Friday, January 15, 2016, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Born February 24, 1956. in Cartersville, GA, she was the daughter of the late George White and Ann Singley White.

Teresa was a loving, caring person who was very passionate about life. Wherever she went she always made friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kent Hamlin.

Survivors include her fiancé, Larry Lozano of Powder Springs; sister, Traci Lingerfelt (Ralph) of Cartersville; brother, Terry White (Joan) of Adairsville; nieces, Aimee Crowe (Paul) of Cartersville and Haylee Hale (Dean) of Cartersville; nephew, Jonathan White of Adairsville; chosen brother and sister, Rick and Donna Buckner of Marietta and also three great nephews and one great niece.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville, with Reverend Joe Nix officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested for those who choose to make a donation in memory of Teresa to the Wounded Warrior’s Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
